Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Oshi stores about you, who can see it, and what you can do about it. Oshi is a marketplace, so some of what you enter is shown to other people on purpose — this page is explicit about which parts.
Your account
Your email address and password are held by the shared Hamary account service, not by Oshi. Oshi only receives an identifier for your account and never sees your password.
Deleting your Oshi account removes your listings, bids, deals, messages and reviews from this service. It does not delete your shared Hamary account.
What other people can see
Public: your display name, icon, introduction, the links you add, your ratings as a seller and as a buyer, the reviews written about you, and your listings.
Visible to the seller of a listing you bid on: that you placed the bid, and your profile. Other visitors see the bid amounts without the names behind them.
Visible to the other party of a closed auction: everything you write in that deal's private thread.
Location
A shipping origin you set on a listing is public — it is how buyers find items near them.
The place you search around is stored on your account and is never shown to anyone else. You can clear it at any time in Settings.
Messages
Messages in a deal are readable by you and the other party. Our staff access them only when investigating a report or where the law requires it.
Do not send payment card numbers or passwords through these messages.
How we use it
To run auctions, to show listings in search, to let the two sides of a closed auction reach each other, and to keep ratings meaningful.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Retention
Listings, bids and reviews are kept while your account exists, because they are what the service shows other people.
If staff restrict an account, we keep a record of that restriction keyed to your shared account identifier even after deletion, so that deleting and re-registering does not lift it.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, clear your saved search location, and delete your account at any time from Settings.
